After this click on the folder 'tag: (number) entries' and click on the other folder 'display' and then you will find a button with the name, that you renamed on the anvil Actually this is the folder for your choosed renamed on anvil item. Click on the folder, that have 5 Entries. You'll see several folders (or one, if your inventory is empty and there's only the item you choose.). After it the file 'level.dat', scroll down and find the button/folder "Player" and click it.Īfter you clicked on Player, scroll down again and find the button "Inventory". After this open NBTExplorer and there choose your world. Quit and save your world, but if you want don't close Minecraft, just let the game. After this get an anvil and rename it whatever you want - for example the name you want to be colored.
It doesn't matter where you will drag your item, so. Choose the item you want to make it's name colored and drag it into your inventory. Now go to Minecraft and go into your world.
